Yes. We have £5m public liability cover and all of our instructors are DBS / CRB cleared.
The instructors always have at least 3 tarpaulins each (each one large enough to provide enough shelter for 10 children comfortably).
If wet weather threatens, children are encouraged to wear or bring along waterproofs.
From experience, the children really do not mind a little rain.

We always encourage parents to join in themselves. However, it is important that those adults do not talk loudly whilst the instructor is trying to make him/herself heard.
It’s very rare parents actually resist joining in on the action, particularly archery and tug of war 😉
The cost of a Bushcraft party depends on the party length, size and amount of activities involved.

Some parents or guardians will often point out one or two potentially disruptive individuals. But nearly every time this has happened the child in question has been absolutely great and usually ends up taking more from the parties than the others.
This is incredibly rewarding.
